TA
That was TA! He’s been huge for us off the bench (in a non-playing capacity). The Celtics bench were into this every second of the game. They were effectively standing for the first quarter. I don’t think House or Allen ever sit on the bench. TA really is one of the hearts on this team.
Especially this season.. TA, House and Cassell especially were really huge on the bench.. just cheering and going wild about the game.

Awesome
I think that was Tony Allen at the end though, in the suit.

When I saw that last night, I didn’t realize the kid was wearing a Cavs jersey. I was wondering why Paul didn’t acknowledge the kid.

Thats a good point, pierce gives that kid a high 5 and then hes probably a permanent fan….and its not like somebody who was 30 was looking for a sarcastic high 5.

I love that!
When I was a kid, I went to a Cleveland/Detroit baseball doubleheader. This is when the Tribe was awful and detroit had Sweet Lou, Trammelm Evans and Gibson. Well, turns out the Tribe swept the twinbill. Afterwards, I was waiting by the team bus for autographs..Whitaker, Sparky, Evans, Hernandez and then out from the stadium comes Gibson. I walk up to him and say, “Mr. Gibson, can I have your autograph?”Gibson pushes me to the side, never saying a word, and walked right onto the bus. Was he being a prick? Maybe, but you could tell he was pissed. Anytime I’ve told that story, people will usually say, what a jerk (using worse names) and I always say, I disagree. I appreciate that his team just got their butts handed to them by, arguably, the worst team in the league at the time. I don’t blame him for not wanting to sign some 10 year olds hat.
The same goes if you wear a Cavs shirt to the Garden. Go shake Bron’s hand, kid. I’m too busy knockin down Js!!! Love it!!

on the contrary
I don’t think that’s pitiful. It shows you how seriously Pierce is taking this game.
Sorry but the kid must clearly be conscious of the fact that he was wearing a Cavs jersey.
Granted he’s a kid, but that only makes it even more disrespectful that he’s not wearing a Celtic jersey..

and he’s sitting next to the bench. you don’t think half the guys noticed a nice kid in a lebron jersey right behind the end of the bench? Pierce obviously must have noticed him way before during the game, or when he walked back at halftime.
Actually, TA was giving PP a nudge afterwards.. it might have been about his passion at the moment..but it also might have been about ignoring the kid.. because Allen was clearly laughing

Not Bush League...
The kid was wearing a Cavs jersey! I wouldn’t expect LeBron to high-five my kids in Cleveland wearing Celts jerseys.

"This time, it's war"
At first I felt kinda bad for the boy. But then I thought: “Hey, he’s at the Garden, he’s trying to highfive The Truth wearing a CAVS jersey, he may as well learn a thing or two and why not NOW?” He’ll probably hate our guts later ;-) Good on ya, PP…

Hilarious
Hopefully this kid learned a valuable life lesson here….if you are in Boston and not rooting for Boston you are invisible to the rest of us…..

hahha, thats great. Cant blame pierce, he was fired up like an inferno, he was IN the moment, he wasnt going to celebrate with a cavs fan whether they were 8 or 80.

Hey Kid...
Your old man may be able to get you a LeBron shirt and a seat on the floor BUT you don’t get everything. Now sit down
