Red is awesome
not much to add beyond that. I just love watching him.

Manuel Aristides Ramirez is the greatest hitter I've ever seen.
Wow...
The more things change, the more they stay the same! Same crap, different day! Only now the officials are really screwing it up. Go figure. Gotta love Red.
can we?
posthumously make Red NBA commissioner!
His ghost/spirit and video clips like these would undoubtedly provide better leadership then David Stern
Clem Haskins
anyone notice him burp up a bit of that Tuner on Rye he just ate when Red introduces him? way to go Clem….
Man, that’s quite a crew for a pickup game!

Red would have been the best commissioner for the “game”
But it’s doubtful he would have made the NBA itself as big in a lot of ways as Stern did.. esp through the 90s, new media, marketing and all.
For those who care about the game of basketball.. Red definitely should have been commish. He practically developed much of the modern game.

that’s a funny thought though.. what if Red was commish before and instead of Stern? chances are the celtics would have 24 titles by now!! but the NBA would be that much better in a lot of ways. less teams (like 22).. less dilution. better quality games.

Big Baby....
got hurt because of the flop.

Big Baby Did Not Get Hurt "Because Of The Flop"
Big Baby got hurt because he came down on someone’s foot and sprained his ankle.

And how...
did Marcin Gortat end up flat on his back? Davis landed on Gortat’s foot when Gortat was on his back, wasn’t he?

Misread You
I thought you meant Baby flopped. As to Gortat I really didn’t notice.

Thank You So Much For This
I laughed at the end because it seems like this film was distributed by the NBA. This should be required watching by today’s officials before every game and they should be tested on it. Notice Mendy Rudolph said this should be called early in the game if it’s happening so that it stops right there. It’s funny because Red and Tommy had their arguments with Mendy Rudolph, but he was respected because he was one the best Refs the game has had.
