KG May Play 2
Kevin Garnett could return for the Celtics' final two games of the regular season.
"If we can run him 10-15 minutes, we will, if we think that will give him better rhythm," coach Doc Rivers said of Garnett's status for a Tuesday visit to Philadelphia. "For us, we'll use it as practice. Same for Leon (Powe).

No one knows what it's like
to be a lifelong Celtics fan and have to live L.A. (Unless of course you live in L.A. and are a lifelong Celtics fan.) Every day I’ve been hearing about Andrew Bynum returning and now he has. It’s like the second coming. I get very emotional about this because I can’t describe to you how much I dislike the Lakers after they let Jerry West go and gave the team over to Kobe Bryant. There is very little to like about the other “storied” NBA franchise. Nonetheless, Memphis gave away Gasol enabling the Lakers to make another serious run for a title. Even with all of our players healthy, we will have about a snowball’s chance in hell to be at them if we get to the Finals. KG has to be at full strength and I just don’t see that. I hope I’m wrong. Anyway, here’s my dilemma. Never have I actually wanted the C’s to lose a game but in the back of my head I hope they lose to Cleveland on Sunday. The Cavs are one game ahead of the Lakers for best record. If the Cavs and Lakers tie, the Lakers have the tie breaker. (They beat the Cavs twice just as they beat the Cs twice.) That would give home court advantage to the Lakers in the Finals against the Cavs. I’m hedging my bets but if we don’t make it to the Finals, I want the Cavs to get there with home court advantage against the Lakers. They are the only other team that has a chance to beat the Lakers.

Oh I know what it's like
I’ve been a Celtics fan for my entire life. I moved out to LA in 1999, just in time for the Fakers to win their first of three.
I want the Cs to win on Sunday. I want them to protect the 40-1 record of the 86 squad. I have no fear of the LA Fakers. They are still a flawed bunch of players.
Also, if you want the Lakers to lose in the Finals (they are almost a mortal lock to come out of the West), then root for either the C’s who are just tougher, or the Magic who cause match-up problems for the Lakers. The Lakers match up well against the Cavs, and would be likely to beat them in the Finals. However, the Magic & Celtics both have good shots at beating them.
Anyway, great news about KG. The C’s are a strong team. Anything is possible.
Bynum again
It’s apparent that in the minds of everyone, (+)Bynum = equals an invincible Lakers squad.
I disagree, here’s why… Lamar Odom isn’t playing to his potential. Yes, he’s the only Laker, who I fear because everyone underestimates his true talent. That guy, when motivated, can take the wind out of the Celtics big man cross product of Powe, BBD, MM, and Perks. In other words, he’s the missing piece which makes the Bynum-Gasol-Odom Lakers big man (sans Radmanovic) trio a dynamo.
It seems we are slowly getting all our players back
Scal, KG and Powe are already with the team in practice time. Ray and Steph have recovered from the flu thing (at least they are with the rest)… Just in time for the playoffs :)
I think we have BIG chances to repeat guys! Let the playoffs come, i’m anxious!
Let's try to enjoy and savor ...
… saying, “The World Champions – Boston Celtics!!!!” for the next two months!
I’m both nervous and excited about the playoffs.
I’m dreading it if for the possibility that the Celtics may not be able to defend the title. Then we won’t be able to say “The World Champions – Boston Celtics!!!!” for another year. :(
But I’m also quite excited about the possibility of getting banner #18.
Dear Basketball gods, please look favorably on this great Celtic Nation! :)
