Bulls or Sixers?

Frank Dell'Apa reports:

The Celtics were the last team to host a playoff game last season, as they won the NBA title against the Lakers in Boston, and they will likely be the first team to play at home this postseason. They will meet the seventh-place Eastern team (Chicago or Philadelphia) at either 12:30 or 1 p.m. Saturday and play host to Game 2 Monday, according to a league source. The league is awaiting results of tomorrow's season-ending contests to announce the schedule.

Since the Sixers play the Celtics and Cavs (at Clev.) in the final two games and the Bulls already have a one game lead on them, I'm guessing we'll be seeing a preview of our first round matchup tonight.  But if you had it your way, would you want to play the Bulls or the Sixers?  See my reviews of each team here:

I dont think it matters either way, we should beat both teams, but both teams could cause problems just like atlanta did last year

bulls are playing better right now although the sixers will be better when thaddeus young returns. Both teams are dangerous for different reasons; the Bulls are younger and more athletic while the Sixers have a wannabe superstar in iqoudala , a savvy pg in Miller and a budding star in Thaddeus Young. The Bulls shoot better from the outside while the sixers play better D and might be better in transition. On balance I’ll take the sixers since I think we match up better with them

bulls have more scorers in salmons

gordon…i think salmons gives pierce fits…i dont think philly has anyone that will do that

Andre Igudola is a 10x harder matchup for Pierce then John Salmons, I dont know where you get this “salmon gives pierce fits” theory, is it because of one game earlier this season when he scored 38? well Pierce scored 37, so maybe he gives salmons fits?
Salmons is an extremly streaky scorer who doesnt defend and is useless if his shot isnt going down, hes the easiest possible matchup for pierce maybe in all of the playoffs

oh wait... that was when pierce was playing "center"

at the end of the game. :D

I’d like to see Chicago in the first round. They’re the better team and will give a more entertaining series.

Are Phily the weakest team in the playoffs this year? I think so.

Philly

They’d be relatively easy to beat and give us some more time to get KG, Powe and Scal back.

The Bulls are good enough to cause an upset, especially considering the KG situation. We would still be favourites by far, but I’d rather not risk it.
