KG on the bench or not?!?
If his teammates want KG on the bench and KG doesn’t want to be on the bench is that the end of Ubuntu? He keeps on saying he doesn't want to be a distraction but in the end it's now become a distraction if he is or is not on the bench. I respect intensity but he's forgetting he's part of a team injured or not. Scal's out there in street clothes.
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

Have you watched the game
His teammates want him on the bench? I really didn’t see that. KG is of no help in the bench, that was made pretty clear today.
Time to get over this issue though; it really doesn’t matter.
Ray, Perk, Pierce , Doc, and even Wyc Grousbeck
have stated they want him on the bench

I'm sure Baby, Perk, and Leon
would rather have him out there. Maybe even Moore. Probably Rondo and Scal.. heck, the entire team would love to have him out there but if he’s looking all depressed instead of the pumped up KG we know and love.. he’s good for nobody to be out there.
Garnett is so obsessed with his own mythology . . .
This who just just cares so much, is so full of passion that he can’t even sit on the bench to support his teammates. It’s hilarious really. He’s become such a caricature of himself. At his core Garnett is a self-obsessed ego-maniac that can’t even give his team 48 minutes of much needed support. At least he got his ring. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE . . . I’M GOING TO DISNEYLAND . . . I’M A MARKETING WHORE ANYWAY YOU SLICE IT
KG
I love KG but he is being a big of a baby with the win or lose thing. You got 25 milion use some of the money to help out people in the economy. Who cares if you are better than Lebron or Kobe, its basketball. There are so many other things in life that is much more important. He should be happy no matter what happens it would give everyone else a better lift

Honestly I don't want KG on the bench.
After watching today’s game I don’t think KG should sit on the bench. Let him watch the game in the locker room, it’s better for everyone. He’s not Sam Cassell.
Love KG but..
He looked really uncomfortable sitting on the bench and I found myself watching him more than the game whenever the play/camera was on that side of the court. Whatever his problem is.. if he’s not going to be out there getting into the game and pumping up his teammates like say Scal does.. I rather he sat in the back. It put a downer on the game
I really love kg but honestly........................
After that shocking game he was going nuts on the bench and he might give the celtics a technical foul from the bench he really does want to play so why wont rivers let him play some minutes practice and game is almost the same thing you run you jog thats what he did on the practice for like what 20mins so why wont he let him jog and run during the game he could really put the celtics some points and help them out a bit and might heal or recover him fast.
completely agree
I COMPLETEY agree with you the_truth2034. Doc says a week ago he looks really good in practice, then he says he’s playing against Washington, then he says KG will wait until playoffs. Then at practice he says he’s done. BS. I don’t believe it. If he is done he would have been done 2 months ago. And if he didn’t look good at pracitce on thursday Doc would have said well he’s just not ready for Game 1 against the Bulls, now all of a sudden he’s out for the season? BS. When he came back for 4 games he didn’t reinjure himself and he wasn’t going up and down the court like Kirk Gibson in ‘88 who could barely walk, he held his own. Why does KG have to run around in practice and look good for an hour just to make himself available for a real game. He’s KG, he’s not some rookie or developing player, or even some 40Yr old. If he can practice for 20 minutes he can play for 10. This whole thing is BS. If he’s not playing he should be ready for surgery. If he’s not having surgery, he should be out there giving it a try for a few minutes in a playoff game. He shoudln’t even be practicing. He should be out on the court trying, and if after one up and down he doesn’t look good we can all say he gave it his best. But if he’s not having surgery now he should be in uniform.
