Meet Derrick Rose
Marc Spears makes what is now an unnecessary introduction:
Hey Boston, say hello to the next NBA superstar. Derrick Martell Rose.
Said Celtics coach Doc Rivers simply: "Rose was fantastic."
"If people aren't familiar with Derrick Rose, they're not basketball fans," Chicago coach Vinny Del Negro said. "The kid has been just phenomenal all season.
"He was fantastic; he is such a huge part of what we do."

Need to put Tony Allen on him
to trip him 6 times when he drives by. That ought to slow him down.

I like the idea of Tony putting in some time defensively on Rose. I think he’d do a really good job on him.
this is a great idea
but I’d be surprised to see Doc make this move.
Guarding him one on one is useless.
Give Joakim Noah and the Tyrus Virus the shots and if they score like yesterday, Chicago is simply better than us.

Well,Derrick rose played very well, no question, but I notice most people ignore rondos performance to praise the future messiahs great game. Its not like DRose could stop rondo, neither of them could be stopped or stop each other, which I saw coming from a mile away…
rondo led us in rebounds, points, assists and in minutes, although he still played 6 short of rose
Not to take anything away from rose, I just noticed, yet again rondo gets no credit, its just probably a fluke right?
the main problem is, why the heck is tyrus thomas shooting 8-12? and Joakim noah getting 17 rebounds? are you kidding me?

Well to be fair, I think the Rondo/Rose matchup has been the only storyline getting real play
Aside from Garnett’s injury. It even annoyed Doc in a postgame interview to the point where he snapped at a reporter who kept asking about the matchup. But, you’re right, Rondo had a terrific offensive game. Neither played any real defense, Rose had some turnovers but he kept coming right back and scoring. The Bulls kept going under screens and Rondo made some jumpshots. I’m excited to see how the 2 will come out Monday night, we could have a new PG rivalry on our hands.
That Steve Nash is exactly the same as Kirk Hinrich, but worse.

It was PP's fault...
had he made that crucial free throw and win the F!"£$$n game then the Globe and the media would be cravin about how great Rondo’s performance in Game one.
deferring too much to PP as well in the early part of the 4th and in exclusivity in OT made our offense also very predictable..(note that Rondo did nothing in OT, offense nevere went through him) PP missed too many jumpers as well as turning it over against freakin Hinrich of all people was freakin inexcusable.
The celts are finished
Without garnett the celtics are the same celtics of three years ago just with more confidence. Bulls take this series in five. YES FIVE. Sorry but the celts are good but not as great as people think. The bulls are extremely talented and not as inexperienced as as you would think.
