That Makes Me Feel Just A Little Better
Our 2nd round opponent, the Orlando Magic (you heard me), lost their first game of the opening round as well. So that makes me feel a little better.

I think Orlando fans were saying the same thing..
Hope the Celts will take care of their own business tonight. Believe it or not, tonight is already a must-win game for us, at least I think so.
Will Ray show up? What about our patented D?

Yeah, but just a little. Took the edge off, I guess. A nice convincing win tonight would be more encouraging.
And btw that was an incredible shot by Iguodala. Turkoglu played him for the step back all the way (even after he faked it and drove in a little bit). Philly plays hard though like the Bulls. I think anything goes for both of these series.
Confidence Jeff
I like it.
When Perk was asked what he thought of Howard winning the gold medal this summer, he responded: "What’s his impression of me after I won a ring?"
me too

The best of the 2008-09 Boston Celtics is still yet to come. Believe.

It was a good game, but it doesnt make me feel any better about our game 1 failures…I dont really care whether or not orlando is winning or losing, as long as the celtics take care of buisness

made me feel better?
Listen, I don’t care about the other series we have to beat the Bulls, simple as that so why complicate it ya know it all does’nt matter if we lose this series so why even think ahead!
maybe because
thinking ahead is entertaining?
I hope the team feels the way you do, for sure — but I’m all for the mental excercise of thinking about the whole run.
Again, though, I agree that the only mental exercises the Cs should be doing right now are 1. Get over KG’s absence, 2. Step up that defense!, and 3. Paul and Ray, get thy heads together, men!
Heck no!!
Orlando losing would not make me feel ANY better if I were a Celtics fan(which I am not..sorry). You guys still lost to the #7 seed in the East ON YOUR HOME COURT! The only time you should be looking at other teams is if you expect to face that team in the Finals. Sorry to say this but Boston is NOT making it to the Finals this year….I think it will be a Cleveland-Lakers Final, hence both Cleveland and LA making sure they watched each other and made sure they each blew out their opponent the first game.

BULLS ARE GONNA KICK THE CELTICS ASS.........AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
scrambles all the way back to BAB____
A good history lesson...
After last season, everybody was talking about how important home court was…well, some years it is, some years it isn’t…well, this year is shaping up to be one of those years were it isn’t…4 out of the 8 home teams lost on their home court in game 1.
So, in a year when we don’t have home court advantage, it’s shaping up to be one of those years where home court advantage isn’t so important…that’s encouraging, especially since we need to get one in Chicago if we’re going to take this series.
