More Good News

What's wrong with the Lakers??? Is Kobe hurt? Is Bynum going to shut it down? Are they getting too old? Are they breaking down after winning too many games? How many loose parallels to the Celtics can I pose in question form to make a sarcastic point?

The Lakers will be fine. They'll win the series and move on. Just understand that good teams in the playoffs win games, even against Championship contenders.

Still, anytime the Lakers lose, that's good news.

Hard to believe the greatest team in the history of the game actually lost – and is in the same shape we’re in in their series, eh?

I doubt the loss will slow down the ESPN love parade, though.

I wondered if Kobe would hear the same laments as Pierce. Honestly I think Pierce is dealing with father time, but if you look at the tread on Kobe with team usa, deep playoff runs, straight out of high school and all the years in between, he’s going to have to deal with father time too, and more likely sooner than later.

Who know what will happen but earlier in the year I posted here a few times that the Lakers would hit the wall

because Gasol and Kobe had played all summer. Of course I am not so sure of myself now but the intensity really ramps up and Kobe may deal with some dead legs here pretty quick. Here is hoping. And yeah Berkcelt, Kobe has as much overall wear and tear if not more than PP.

oh and please, Bynum may be one of the most overrated young men in basketball.

He may pan out some day and fullfill some of the hype but talk about Jumping the gun!

i dont know if any of you actually stayed up and watched the game

but i did – if you think the refs are bad in our games, you should’ve seen this one.

But they're not our problem

…our biggest challenge will be getting past Cleveland. After that, I don’t see the Lakers as a major problem… we know how to handle them. The Cavs are the team to beat this year…. they have the D, the O, the C(hemistry), and the S(uperstar).
