We do know what's wrong with KG... the mystery is why it's not reported
I am mystified by the ongoing speculation about what's wrong with KG. I mean, we have a clear BONA FIDE REPORT, from a BONA FIDE REPORTER (Chris Sheridan), who got the info DIRECT FROM KG's AGENT (Andy Miller), that he has "loose cartilage" in the knee and "tendon strain". I've posted the link several times, but here it is again: http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=4030740&categoryid=2459788.
To continue speculating is to say that this report is false, and there is zero evidence for that. KG's agent is one of the few people outside the reach of Danny's gag order. Plus the diagnosis makes perfect sense with the known facts. KG will definitely NOT be 100%, and he could be disabled at any moment, something we cannot predict or prevent. That's the reality. Cs are gonna have to win anyway... which I think they can do, and which would be their greatest achievement yet.
What's mystifying to me is why this information hasn't been reported in the major media. They continue to talk about "knee strain", and 'oh, they're resting him so he'll be 100% for the playoff', yada, yada, yada.
It's just weird.
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

Bone spurs
There was a Yahoo Sports (Adrian Wojrowonski?) article that directly quoted Danny Ainge saying: “There’s a spur in the back of the right knee rubbing against the tendon”
So is it loose cartilage or spurs? I side with the significant population here that all this worrying is completely useless, but I have to say the Celtics have done a singularly wonderful job of botching their PR line throughout the press, throughout this injury.
If you want to stop fans from needlessly panicking, get a standard script, figure out what you want to say (even if its bull) and STICK WITH IT.
I am about as exasperated with the Celtics fudge-job with regards to the kind of injury Garnett has as I am worried about Garnett’s actual health. This vague picture only helps the conspiracy theorists.
Can't believe anything Danny says
He is the least reliable source on player status. And you’re right, it’s real annoying. The report from KG’s agent fits what happened perfectly.
its ridicoulous.
what’s even more ridicoulous is the people that think he’ll magically be 100% the minute the playoffs start and we will defend our title
