Always a great topic of discussion and something that must be discussed, but this sorta thing’s never sat well with me. We’re World Champs, who doesn’t matter, all it means is who do we want to see lose first, and to be best prepared down the road? I want the hardest battle possible and the one that gets Mikki and Steph the most thrust upon them early. Resting guys would be nice, but losing in the 2nd round wouldn’t, make it hot early. Pistons I guess…
I am not sure we should be rooting for an easy first round opponent so it doesn't matter
the guys who are playing look healthy, less tired, and are clicking better for sure. Id just wish for more rest for PP which he might get now with TA back.
Is powe practicing with the guys? Scal? Is KG at least attending practice?
I can imagine Powe being close to 100% come playoffs. If KG can be 80% and not get worse it might be enough if everyone else is good. frankly a few moments from scal would come in handy too
Wade will get every call under the sun if we get them because that’s what the NBA does. If we play Detroit, they flop better than most teams AND they foul every time knowing the refs can’t possible call everything. The Bulls and Sixers may steal one game but neither is scary at all.
The playoffs for us will come down to one thing: OFFICIATING. If we get anything remotely close to fair officiating, we repeat with ease. If not, we struggle to repeat. You know Stern is still pissed we won last year.
Bulls
Philly as the favorite team to face; Detroit and Miami in the middle.
You forgot to add the option for 'Does not matter, Cs will win regardless'.
Of these choices I’ll take the C’s over them all.
Miami
Miami, because Wade presents some of the same defensive challenges as LeBron, and we might as well practice these defenses before going up against Cleveland.
I meant to say that I would Prefer Miami
I have no team that I would not want to face.
I think the Pistons and Philly would be our toughest opponents. Even with Wade getting all the calls, the Heat won’t be any kind of challenge. They’re an attrocious rebounding team, and they can’t defend us well.
Philly has given us some tough games, even when we’re at full strength. They can run the floor well, and they play tough with Evans in there. Iguodala is a great wing defender. And they’re quite good rebounding the ball, especially offensively, and that can lead to trouble.
I don’t know why many are sleeping on the Pistons, even if they’ve had an underwhelming season so far. They have a ton of experience in the playoffs, and quite a few dangerous weapons. They can be great defensively and tough to guard. Hamilton will be very hard to contain.
Really, I’m very surprise by everyone picking the Heat.

please
people please noway a one man team can beat the celtics r u over 50 percent people crazy r drinking
I like our chances with any team when healthy.....
Even if we are not, we still could beat any team less then 7 games. Remember last year the C’s didn’t have much playoff experience to start off. That’s why Hawks pose such a threat in the first round because we weren’t used to younger teams playing like that. Sixers and Bulls are the same, but the C’s could easily handle either one in 5 games the most. Heat would only go 6 games if Wade does get streaky. Pistons might easily take us 7 games if Rasheed, Rip, or Prince decide to step it up in the playoffs. I know Pistons seem like the least, but we had them taken out last year. So I have to choose Heat only based on how well Wade been doing. Either way, I’m not scared of any team only Cleveland so we might need to face a team like Heat or Pistons to get ready for them, like already mentioned.
I agree with tcelt
Wade alone can’t beat the Celtics. Not last year, not this year.
i think we are looking too far ahead ...
… but if I get to choose, I will take the Bulls. The 76ers and Pistons always play us though. I still can’t figure out the Pistons. They are basically the same team as last year, minus Billups, but the what a difference a year made.
