The Last Piece of the KG Trade?
Somewhat random topic: Remember that little trade that brought over Kevin Garnett and worked out pretty well for us? There's one final piece that has yet to be put into place. The TWolves still get to use our draft pick (end of the first round) this year.
I looked over at Draft Express and right now they have Minn. picking Darren Collison at 28. Bookending that pick are Tyler Hansbrough and Wayne Ellington of the NCAA Champs. All of these guys seem like good to great college players, but I'm not all that excited about their pro potential.
So I won't weep for the loss of this draft pick. Besides, if Danny sees someone he likes in the late 1st round or early 2nd round, I'm sure he'll be able to buy a pick anyway.

Tyler Hansbrough
I think Tyler Hansbrough is going to be a player. He’s really 6’9" and he works really hard. Probably a bench player but a player that gets minutes and can contribute.

I think he’ll be a role player at best. That said, I’d love to see Danny get his hands on Sam Young (Pitt) or Danny Green (UNC). I think they’d be fantastic additions to this team!

I loved JJ Reddick...
and I really like the Patrick O’Bryant move…so I’m down with Tyler Hansbrough.
Seriously though, we have a proven Tyler Hansbrough in Big Baby and if we, hopefully, keep Leon too there’s no minutes for that good kid. I hope he proves everyone wrong and becomes the next Big Baby Davis

He’s taller than davis but has quick feet like davis and will cheaper. I’m not saying we should try to get him. I’m just saying that he is such a hard worker that he’ll probably be a player.
