"You know what, I’m a big guy," Davis said. "And sometimes I can’t even feel when I’m sitting on the remote. So imagine if my emotions are going wild and I’m running by somebody and I don’t feel it. So if I’ve hurt anybody or if I’ve done any harm to anybody, please forgive me. Because my intentions were harmless."

Nice from BBD to apologize...
… but he didn’t have to, this story is ridiculous since it started with the dad’s complaint.
In other words, that kid was like a remote under my as*.

Agreed with Drucci
The complaint from the father was stupid. Sometimes we complain about such stupid things and we don’t really react against the true and important things in life.
Davis is great, I like him even more now…that “remote thing” was hilarious :P
Very Sad...
…that this world has come to a point where a spoiled rich snot is basically bumped by an NBA player and the snotty kids father along with his overinflated sense of self worth ‘demands’ an apology from the league in a poorly written statement to the NBA.
Totally, 100% pathetic.
The kid should be embarrassed and the father should be ashamed of himself.
The former is probably correct, the latter is likely more like the former.
Don't fake the funk on a nasty dunk
Not necessary, Baby!
The only one who should be receiving an apology is you!
It should be coming from the grandparents of this kid….because they clearly raised an adult son {the kid`s dad} who is a complete and utter moron!!!!
BTW…When you hit the series-winning shot at the buzzer of Game 6, make sure you fall {full force} onto the kid`s father!
Ernest Provetti
The kid`s retarded father makes Baby look anorexic!
You the Man
After the biggest shot of your life it is understandable that you would be a raging bull running for your locker room. Kids (and adults alike) should be careful to stay out of the way of a raging bull. What did the kid want? A high five and a polite word of advice? Get out of the way sucka!!!!
God Bless America.....
What has become of our beloved Country… Somewhere Washington, Adams, & Jefferson are turning in there graves… To think that is what we’ve become in this country…. very very sad……
As diverse as our country has become, we’ve lost our honor, integrity, our pride. Are we not all Ameicans, no matter what our nationality is? Everyone seems to think they have a right.
Like Rodney Dangerfield use to say… “No Respect”
Sad that Glen Davis had to apologize…. very very sad…….
Where art thou Archie Bunker !!!!!!!
Time for a Charles Barkley Quote!!!
After Kevin Garnett threw a ball into the crowd out of frustration and was ejected. They showed footage of the man that got hit by the ball being taken away in a stretcher and his daughter was crying. Charles commented that players take passes to the face all the time. He topped it off by saying: “You know why that little girl’s crying? It’s because she’s thinking ‘my daddy’s a wussy’”.
Is it Soup Yet?
i remember that
isn’t the story afterwards that the arena folks forced him to leave via the stretcher, though? i could be mistaken, but i could have sworn that the guy was pretty pissed to have to leave that way. but yeah, charles’ comments were hilarious.

i was actually gonna bring this story up
then i think kenny smith said something like “that guy must have no friends” lol
The Kid wouldn't have been embarassed...
If his dad didn’t make a big deal out of it. If it had happened, with none of the hoopla, this kid would be the coolest kid in school for getting smacked by an NBA player. Kids (especially ones who are sports fans) think stuff like that is awesome.
Just a brush
…and c’mon, the kid got brushed by, he didnt get leveled. Ive had worse collisions with my 6 month dog (A 35 pound boxer) Stop the whining and watch the Celtrons roll!
an explanation
The kid’s Dad is a closet Laker fan…..nothing else makes sense..
One more time... yeah the kid's dad was an embarrassment to all Orlando
BUT – once again, I feel the need to say…
Any Dad that takes his kid to a playoff game at courtside, deserves a lotta leeway in my book…
