… but he didn’t have to, this story is ridiculous since it started with the dad’s complaint.

The complaint from the father was stupid. Sometimes we complain about such stupid things and we don’t really react against the true and important things in life.
Davis is great, I like him even more now…that “remote thing” was hilarious :P

…that this world has come to a point where a spoiled rich snot is basically bumped by an NBA player and the snotty kids father along with his overinflated sense of self worth ‘demands’ an apology from the league in a poorly written statement to the NBA.
Totally, 100% pathetic.
The kid should be embarrassed and the father should be ashamed of himself.
The former is probably correct, the latter is likely more like the former.

They showed footage of the man that got hit by the ball being taken away in a stretcher and his daughter was crying. Charles commented that players take passes to the face all the time. The Kid wouldn't have been embarassed...
If his dad didn’t make a big deal out of it. If it had happened, with none of the hoopla, this kid would be the coolest kid in school for getting smacked by an NBA player. Kids (especially ones who are sports fans) think stuff like that is awesome.
