It's no stretch to wonder if, in his third season, [Rajon Rondo] is on his way to becoming the best point guard in the game. Chris Paul and Deron Williams and Chauncey Billups never have shown this kind of versatility under playoff pressure.

they call him inconsistent, even though hes been our most consitent player, if he puts up 21/14, they yawn because he only had 3 assists, they actually critique him for having only 3 assists!!!! hahahah!!!
I hear wild celtics fans ask to trade him, or bench him, say he has no compusure…no really these are things ive heard

No, he hasn’t been our most consistent player, not even in the playoffs. The most consistent player on the team was Kendrick Perkins.
Rondo would shoot .700 in one game, then miss everything on the way to a 3-14 the next. His ebbs and flows are well evidenced in his free throw shooting where he can easily be 7-9 one night and 2-6 the next. The guy needs to work on focus and consistency, that’s a fact.
