C you next year
It was a pretty good run, while it lasted, but what it came down to in the end, was that Ray Allan and Paul Pierce couldn't carry the team, both offensively and defensively without the Big Ticket. Without their defensive anchor, they had to make too many improvisations on the defensive end, which left the team literally exhausted on the offensive end. You cannot lose one of the greatest defensive players of all time and expect the team to carry on as though nothing has changed. Thanks for giving us a great run while it lasted, and I'm sure that all C' fans, like myself, look forward to the coming year, with a healthy team to field, with the hope that they'll stay healthy through the playoffs.
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

I'm sorry
but K.G. did not when a championship till he played with Boston. Not one of the greatest. Nice run green & white. opinion only
Well, at least they got to the second round
They didnt have a pathetic first round exit or anything… despite missing their best player and best bench player. That’s two pretty important guy from their top 8 rotation.
Going to the 7th game of the second round is something… albeit not much in a town where we measure success by rings. Heck, the C’s dont even hang division or conference championship banners – only championships. BUT – better than a weak first round exit.
Also, LeBron can’t get the satisfaction of beating up on a crippled, exhausted Celtics team in some lame attempt at “revenge” for what NBA Finals MVP Paul Pierce did to him last year…
