Don't fake the funk on a nasty dunk

If Kobe wore green he would be beloved by everybody in this blog.

He’s a great player. The goal of our players on this roster should be to win as many championships as Kobe Bryant.

Is Garnett a dirty player? He uses his elbows to clear space and Artest or nobody like Artest never is guarding him. Perk? Rondo? RayRay?

Come on folks….Give it a rest.

Let's not forget Denver

…some people don’t appreciate that kind of behaviour, no matter how much the athlete in question helps the home team.

Who isn’t a “dirty” player? The guy that doesn’t have the talent?. I guess this is a different connotation derived from “basketball IQ”

KOBE

Is cheap and dirty. If he was a Celtic he’d be a better team player by now.

Larry

was a “dirty” player because he did what it takes to win, which is whatever you can get away with. But he was also a hero, not because he was a Celtic but because of his character — character not possessed by a spoiled brat like Kobe who will crumble if the going gets tough.

There is a difference between Toughness and Cheap Shots.

That’s a lesson LA is showing they have yet to learn.

Someone posted some clips from the game the other night that showed

the elbows and knees Kobe was throwing. Let’s be done with “Kobe does what it takes to win and we’d love him if he were on our team.” If he were, KG and Pierce would put him in his place for doing something like that. Something detrimental to the team. Kobe’s a spoiled brat who hasn’t grown up after all these years. Finally someone from SI puts it out there for all to see.

Bryant: "I don't need to be a dirty player."

Exactly, that’s one of the things that makes the Mambo so pathetic. That the NBA allows him to participate in the “NBA cares” ad campaign turns my stomach.
Also, he’s a rapist. That has to count for something.

i love this

someone hit the nail on the head with “if Kobe wore green…” I love the hate here, it is so funny. what is even funnier is the anti-laker sentiment gets further stoked when the celts get embarrassed. so silly. kobe is no dirtier than about 3 current celtics players. what an absurd statement.

How can

you guys really defend a guy on your own team that ran the reason you won those 3 championships out of town? If pp ran KG out because he wanted to prove something, I wouldn’t care for him anymore. I find it rather humorous that you say PP didnt do anything until we put a team around him. How many rings does Kobe have since shaq left? How where they doing until Gasol arrived. Thats a stawman arguement. Face it Kobe sucks as a person and the only way teh lakers can be tough is if they cheap shot the other team.

Sure

Ill keep going because until your team wins 4 more you will always be the step child franchise. Our titles are not fraudulant, we didn’t move and take them with us. I dont believe that I’m fooling myself when its common knowledge that kobe had dverything to do with shaq leaving. Why do you think Shaq raps about kobe not winning without him? Why do you think they have such a huge divide between the two of them? Kobe is a great talent, but he isnt right in the head. But I do hear he is great to work for, just ask his former maid.
