He has time.

I’ll go on the record right now: No Celtic should participate in any summer basketball. Period.
We should be focused on rest, recovery and preparation for next season. No ego-feeding.

This is great news
For all NBA players who were borderline All-Stars (such as Rondo), it is great lift to finally receive this recognition.
Regarding resting during the summer, each player will determine whether they are fit to participate and team training staff will surely assist with the decision also. This is what Rondo and Perk did last year and they chose to rest (with Perk having shoulder surgery also).
For Glen Davis, this would be a dream come true. Great stuff!

The absolute epitomy of irrelevence. Meaningless games. Adjusting to new rules just in time to have to readjust. Absolutely agree w/ CoachBo.

Olympics
I just wish they would put it back to the college players. With professional participation the Olympics have become irrelevant. I know it used to be our college players against other countries’ pro’s. But what is or should be the purpose of the Olympics? It’s to get people from different countries to compete against and get to know each other. It’s unfair to owners and fans to have our pro’s participate. The chance of injury, the extra wear and tear on the body. Our professional leagues play much longer seasons than pro leagues in other countries. I just wish we would go back to the way it was and downplay the importance of winning in that environment.
