2nd year potential, What about Pruitt?
In the upcoming season, Bill Walker and J.R Giddens will have some more experience. I see a lot of promise from Walker, he has great driving ability and don't forget to vote for him in the dunk contest he is sure to be in sooner or later. If he can get a good jump shot and hit the occasion 3, he will be a great addition to the team. Probably backing up Paul Pierce.
As for Giddens, he hardly saw playing time but I hear he's a great defender, amazingly athletic ( like Walker ) and has a decent jumper already. I say give him a chance if Eddie doesn't come back. See how he does and if he could back up Ray.
Now, about Gabe. I really like his playing style. He's very quick, long, and he can shoot the 3 ball. Could he be rondo's back up?
What do you think about any or all of these guys?
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

All these idea’s about trades are just plain dumb. None of these guy’s can be traded because neither one has had a chance to prove themselves. Pritt can run a team. I think good enough to make you forget Stephon M. He’s not as fast as Pruitt and can not rebound as good either but he has good comand in the huddle he’s good at assist’s and has nice jumper also but just as important he givesthe ball up in a player’s sweet spot. It’s being said Rondo gets players angry with him because they dont catch his ball all the time That’s something that comes natural with Pruitt. I dont think Pruitt is better than Rondo but I due beleive if given a chance Pruitt will be more than a stand in for Rondo. He plays better defence than Stephon M. and also knows the plays better. The problem is Doc might like him.
Walker is going to be a star. When I hear trades involveing Walker I always think back to when we traded for Robert Parrish, Golden State had given up on him after two years. Walker would have been a top 10 or 15 draft chioce if not for a knee operation Again Doc does not like young guy’s.
Now for Mr. Giddens. This year he won’t be a star gazer and will play his game. He and Walker will be the guy’s to guard the premiter. If you throw in Pierce and that’s three people to guard the premiter. Don’t for get Pruitt is a pretty good defender.
I think the young guy’s will do just find if given a fair chance. All we have to do is get rid of T. Allen, Scal, E. House, Mikki Moore, and Stephon M. Replace them with Marcin Gortat and McDycee. If we get both of them who cares about 2010. We spend less money, have youth and length.
What about 6’ 7" 1/2 Big Baby? Gortat is 6’11" he’s 24 yrs. and can play in the paint.. right now.

I dont see a bright future for Giddens but hopefully he could eventually be a decent backup but i dont see that for atleast another year on the bench.
As far as walker he is a slasher he can get to the rim and cause problems for the other team. I think that he should be used in the rotation and getting atleast a consistent 10-15 minutes between sf/sg which is reasonable. Let him make some mistakes during the regular season and if you dont trust him by the end of the season cut him out for the playoffs. I can see some great highlights from him and an average of around 6-8ppg which would be good considering the minutes with a few breakout performances every so often. The only thing im a bit worried about because i didnt watch him in college and only saw him briefly last season is how good of a jumpshot he has… that will show of effective he can be. If he can play average defense but push the pace on offense just tiring the other team a bit is worth the minutes you give him.
Pruitt i like i actually believe he could be the backup for the team this year i would expect rondo to be getting around 40mpg so giving the rest to pruitt wouldnt be that big of a deal especially considering i think he has the potential for pretty good defense and he can shoot. I say go into the season with him and if we have a problem get someone at the deadline.
If we could get Gortat with the MLE and Grant Hill i would be pretty happy with that out of free agency. We could then use T Allen + Scall and fill any holes we have at the deadline.

Keep Gabe
I’ve made the comparison before, Pruitt reminds of Sam Jones: cool under pressure, understated, great fundamentals, plays defense, shoots the three (not possible in Jones’s day), and involves team mates. He’s a Celtic. P.S. Please keep Leon Powe, also a Celtic.

Give Lofton a chance
He played good point at Tennessee for 2 years until Ramar Smith showed up and moved to the 2 spot, he was better than Pruitt in college until his senior year when a battle with cancer affected his play. He looks like he’s got his old game back and I haven’t seen anything all that great from Pruitt in the opportunities he’s been given. I say give Lofton a real shot at taking his spot, and I think he would.
