Blockbuster Trade
With all the trade rumors cirlcling abound, I thought I would throw in my two cents. If you're gonna make a trade, might as well make it a doosy, right? I'm talking future HOF players, all-star players, draft picks, and multiple teams. So, you're wondering, what trade could top all trades but still be realalistic. Here's what I'm proposing. A three team trade involving the Celtics, Suns, and Grizzlies.
Here's the meat and potatoes of the deal:
Celtics get:
Amare Stoudemire, Jason Richardson from Suns
Suns get:
Ray Allen from Celtics
#2 pick in 2009 draft from Grizzlies
Grizzlies get:
Kendrick Perkins, Bill Walker from Celtics
#14 pick in 2009 draft from Suns
Thus, the Celtics 2009-2010 starting line-up: Stoudemire, Garnett, Pierce, Richardson, Rondo. That's an almost all-star starting five. Plus, the Celtics would still have the full MLE, LLE, and right to retain BBD if they so choose.
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

Memphis
is also losing out on Ricky Rubio or Tyreke Evans, whoever they decide to draft. You have to factor that into the equation.

Nope
Yeah, this would be terrible for memphis and they would never do this. They would also never trade Pau Gasol for a bucket of boat trash from LA.
