Nice article
but I have to go with David’s Aldridge’s:
http://www.nba.com/2009/news/features/david_aldridge/05/31/aldridge.james/
I did not know about Earnest Byner before reading this piece. What he went through and did makes Lebron’s actions look extremely shameful.

thanks, had not seen that
When Perk was asked what he thought of Howard winning the gold medal this summer, he responded: "What’s his impression of me after I won a ring?"

Pretty brutal...
can’t say I totally disagree though.

Po(se) for the Camera Lebron
Guess when you lose you can’t take those fake photo’s on the sidelines with your teammates and act a fool??? Money can’t buy class and character – just ask Kobe

Wojo is a D-bag
But that was a pretty good article.
All the nonsense that surrounded the Cavs this season—the whining about Mo’s All Star selection, the ridiculous pregame and in-game preening for the cameras, etc—was destined to catch up to them. Don’t they know about hubris?
Lebron will be like Jordan—it won’t be until his late 20s until he ‘gets it.’

Seriously...
I rarely, if ever, like anything Wojo writes but that was a solidly scathing review which sums up exactly how I feel about Lebron. I must give credit where credit is due: Wojo nailed it.

different wojo
one writes for ESPN, the other writes for yahoo. I tend to think you’re thinking of the ESPN guy who I also strongly dislike…

The Commish isn't happy
In an appearance on “The Herd with Colin Cowherd,” Stern acknowledged he was not pleased that James, the league’s reigning MVP, didn’t meet with the media, or shake hands with the Orlando Magic, following the Game 6 loss on Saturday night.
Noting that in the recent past, other players and teams have been fined for failing to meet the league’s media guidelines, Cowherd asked why James had not been fined.
“I’m in the process of making a phone call or two now to talk to LeBron … so I don’t want to speak to that at this moment,” Stern said.
“So you’re not happy?” Cowherd asked.
“I think that’s fair to say,” Stern replied.
When further asked about James storming off the court without postgame handshakes with the Magic — and whether one action was more troubling than the other — Stern said both. “One goes to rules, another goes to values,” he said. “I think both of them should be followed.”
“Everything’s big when you follow the NBA, so I’m going to step back and ask not to be pushed too hard right now [on the incident]” Stern added. “I’ve got a few irons in the fire.”
On Monday, NBA spokesman Tim Frank told 1050 ESPN New York’s Andrew Marchand that James would not be fined, adding “We haven’t had any issues with him before at all.”

Not the real reason Stern isn't happy
Stern had 500K on Cavs making the finals (bet placed by referee Bennett Salvatore). However Charles Barkley had 750K on Dwight Howard and the Magic making the finals (bet placed by D Wade)
Steroid Superman Howard decided to play some ball as he gets half of Barkley’s winnings plus will be in Barkley’s Fav Five for a whole year………………….“It’s just business nothing personal”

right stern
When further asked about James storming off the court without postgame handshakes with the Magic — and whether one action was more troubling than the other — Stern said both. "One goes to rules, another goes to values," he said. "I think both of them should be followed."
Unless you are LBJ then dont worry about league image. Just keep traveling and making a mockery of the rules, so long as you bring in the $$$ and fans.
When is stern going to retire???

Add: Entitled
LBJ’s (mis)behavior perhaps perhaps stems from an overdrawn sense of entitlement, as in “Im so good! Im the MVP! I DESERVE a ring. Everyone tells me so.” Get the memo, son: teams win rings.

Tottaly right
This one its the nail squarely on the head.
Lebron still has time to make amends, we’ll see if he’s man enough to do it.

great article
i understand being upset that you lost in a year in which everyone basically said your team was unstoppable (in the East, at least), but you are NOT magic, bird, jordan, dr. j, dumars…you’re not kobe, shaq, ray allen, paul pierce…you have not won a damn thing yet. if those championship winners have the class to go over and congratulate the team that beat them, what’s your excuse?

Nice Article
Wojo nailed this one right in the head. Queen James just got what was coming to him the whole year. I lost a whole lot of respect for Lebron James the person after seeing his little episode after losing the series to the Magic. So this is the guy groomed to be the next poster boy of the NBA?
I really don’t like to be taking pleasure over someone else’s misfortune but Lebron has this one coming to him. I still remember his arrogant quote after handing the C’s with a beatdown. “If you don’t like it, then do something about it” or something to that effect. Looks like D12 and the gang did something about your arrogant proclamations and your “MVP reign” pal.
Lebron should take a page from MJ, Bird, Magic, etc. on losing gracefully. I think Lebron got his class act from Isiah’s notebook. Try to get some class Lebron. That’s something you could think about while fishing this off-season.
