Ray for T-Mac
McGrady would be a perfect fit in our offense, can stretch the floor almost as well as rey, plus he’s six-8….. He’s essentially at the exact same point in his career that the big three were in 2 years ago… plus the rockets gm daryl morey got his start because of danny and might be willing..... and they would finally have a healthy all-star 2 guard to pair with yao, maybe if you put powe tony and bill..... it becomes RAY POWE TONY AND BILL FOR T-MAC AND SHANE
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

T. Mack misses 30 to 40% of games every year. No part time player is as god as a full time player. T. Mack is as fragle as fine china.
So we actually trade Powe, Tony, Walker and Ray for Shane and a part time T.Mack. I wouldn’t trade Ray for T. Mac and Shane. Shane is a good player but will not start in front of Paul.
HMMMM
Well at least we’d be trading Ray for someone who doesnt disappear in the playoffs rolls eyes
hey im not saying we should do it
but think about it, when healthy t-mac and ray are very close, in fact t-mac might be a little better, key is when healthy…. but the key to this trade woudl be shane, because that right away solves the back up small forward spot, and as we saw this year, when t-mac isn’t healthy shane can do a great job guarding most 2’s in the league…. now d-wade would give him fits, but rondo guards the smaller quicker 2’s usually anyway… idk if we are saying that when healthy ray and t-mac are equal the shane addition might make a lot of sense…. THIS ISN"T GOING TO HAPPEN THOUGH AS MUCH AS DARYL MOREY OWES THE CELTICS, I BELIEVE THAT THEY WILL GIVE YAO, TRACY, AND RON ONE MORE TRY AT IT.
"As much as Morey owes the Celtics"?
Because he got his start with the C’s, he’s obligated to start doing them favors in the trade market?

Not to say that T-Mac for Ray is any "favor," by the way,
but he’s not throwing in Shane Battier by any stretch of the imagination.

100% Right
Battier isn’t leaving H-Town before 2011 unless a trade is put together with him as the focal point or Chris Wallace becomes the new Rockets GM and then we might be able to get Ming and Battier for Scal and a Super Sized Big-Mac meal!

I will pass
He has not gone past the first round of playoff yet. And I don’t know if he will be around in the 2nd half of the season let alone the playoff
never gonna happen.
the rockets are never going to let battier leave. Him and scola are the heart of their team. Ray for T-mac might work, but frankly it doesnt really help either club.
