Gerald Green!! -

Gerald Green can play backup small forward for Pierce,

he is 6-8, athletic, can score and with some work from KG and Tom Thid

can become a good defender.

Tony Allen is too small, only 6-4, when you match against 6-8 Lebron,

you need a bigger small forward, and Gerald be signed for 1-2 mil,

low risk, high reward, this kid has been around a few years

and usually it takes 3-4 years to develop, it's perfect timing

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

I like it, but unlikely

I love Gerald Green (and people think I’m crazy for that), but I doubt the Celtics are going to take another chance on him. We do need veterans at this point, but if in some parallel universe a Gerald Green signing actually took place, I would be all for it.

No more low risk high reward

That’s what the entire Celtics bench was last year.

And the Celtics were not rewarded.

Eventually, we're going to have to start discouraging this continued line of faulty logic,

which is the idea that just because a guy has no basis on which to command an insane contract, he suddenly becomes “high reward.” Some low-risk guys are rather low reward, primarily because they aren’t very good.

Given his track record, it remains my contention that Gerald falls into the category I’ve described above.

Oh, I suppose they are high reward, in the sense that you can go down to the horse track and spend all afternoon betting on every 50 to 1 longshot. And if any of them win, which they probably won’t, you can go home a winner. Otherwise, you’ll have to answer to your wife on where the money went, just as Ainge has had to answer before for drafting Gerald Green.

(Hey, Steve.)

Nobody Undertands

Gerald Green has so much potential. He is a slasher, he can shoot and under Tom Thib he can learn to defend. I think now, he realizes that nothing comes easy and would be a great guy to have coming off the bench. When he was here he didnt have KG screaming at him, only Pierce who had enough to deal with. Off the bench as a sophomore out of HS he averaged over 10ppg!!!! We need to give this kid a chance. We can get him very cheap and he WANTS TO COMPETE. Think of it, has he ever had a dominating locker room guy or guys for that matter like KG? Yao/T-Mac? nope Dirk? nope The T’Wolves mean age is the same as the local middle school soooo nope. Danny, if your out there….GIVE GERALD ANOTHER SHOT! I have a good feeling about him.

Gerald Green can play …

No, Gerald Green can’t play — it really boils down to that.

Ummm....nah

I was super geeked when the C’s got Green and even more excited when he had a couple of good games. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see much of him and none of his coaches had anything good to say about him. The Rocket’s got him for small money and he still got released. This leads me to believe that he’s a great athlete with very little discipline or low basketball IQ.
