Wyc: "I saw KG this morning, he's feeling great and he's the most fired up he's ever been. For KG, that's saying something."
Update: Per the Globe, KG has "guaranteed the championship in 2010 and in 2011".

get used to it
not sure if it is you, but someone seems to comment on this every time – what’s the big deal? it is just another way to get info – if you don’t like it, you don’t have to use it
not trying to pick on you, just find it funny that some people are so anti-twitter

Maybe it’s just me, but it’s just really, really annoying to me.

twitter?
I’m a software developer, and I just don’t get twitter. Isn’t it just a just like a message board with no options? Hasn’t this been around for, like, ever?

"the most fired up he's ever been"?
after “anything’s possibllllllllllle” – I don’t even want to know what he looked like this morning
I’d hide the children and small animals

kg is one of the best pros i’ve ever seen. no one today is worth(in the nba) what they get paid. with the economy the way it is they should all donate 10% of what they get to appropriate children’s programs. but back to kg; he works at his game as a true professional and i await his return with glee.

Well Said
I think most of these high paid players do give alot back to the community, KG included. But as to your remark on KG being a “true” professional. Remember when he had a bad game 5 in the finals last year and the C’s had plane trouble the next day and didn’t get home till late at nite (with game 6 the next day). KG was in Waltham at midnite practicing his shooting. That’s a true professional and committed athlete who earns his pay. And we wouldn’t have known about it if Perk hadn’t spilled the beans. He was there with Ed Lacerte working on his shoulder so Perk would have a chance to play game 6. Another true professional.

Ya know, I never really thought about that til now. KG is going to be a SAVAGE next year, the entertainment value in that is almost worth not winning number 18 (stress almost). I’m sure many people said it but I’ll say one last time prior to the season starting, this team is NOTHING without KG, post Shaq teams style, don’t’ ever forget it, age and salary included.

Um
KG had surgery a week ago and he feels great? Can someone explain to me why he didn’t have surgery in February? He might have been playing in April.

you can be feeling great and not ready to play NBA basketball
but this is a common dilemma in sports – get the surgery miss at least X weeks/months, maybe rehab for end of season, or grind out and rehab during season, and deal with it after the season. in retrospect it obviously would have been better to Jameer Nelson him.
