Don't laugh... T. Lue is better than you think!

T. LUE

Star-divide

It is obvious we have back up pg issues. We need to keep the cost down as we look for a viable back up for Pierce. There seems to be growing support for Gabe Pruitt. I am not a Gabe Pruitt hater but I do not feel he is the answer to our problem. He is good for short minutes this year but we cannot afford "on the job training" throwing him in as a full time back up to Rondo. Based on what I have seen he is not that guy yet.

My question is ...Why not Tyron Lue? People are quick to crush him but here are the reasons I believe he is what we need given the current FA situation and whats available...

1. We need a pg who does not make alot of mistakes or turn the ball over with frequency...we need efficiency. Lue is not a big scorer but will run the offense and adequately distribute the ball.

2. Lue is very cheap freeing $ for a 2nd tier scorer (Moon?)

3. Lue is a pesky defender off the bench.

4. Lue is experienced...has played significant playoff minutes. Cagey...Will not hurt team with mistakes.

5. Lue is an adequate shooter...can hit an elbow jumper.

6. Lue understands his role as a back up and accepts it for what it is.

7. Team guy...no BS

I just don't see the downside or why some are so against bringing him in. Its not that sexy (niether are his braids)but in the end its about consistancy and he has been a stable pg throughout his career.  A veteran prescence to stabalize and run the second team offense and show leadership is key to our success this year.

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

I’ve been saying we should grab Lue since the first day of the offseason. I think he’s the perfect fit. Doc loves him, too. We’ll have to see what happens.

I would be surprised if we don't get him

He’s got a good grip on the game. We don’t need him to score a lot. Just a point who has low turnovers.

What Happened

to Bobby Jackson and Carlos Arroyo? Jackson has a lot of experience from all those runs he has had with Sacramento and back then he use to play against Derek Fisher. If we get him, we can shut down D Fish. As for Arroyo, we have a play maker and he distributes the ball well also.

No way I want Lue

The highlight of his career is holding Allen Iverson’s jersey for 5 games in the NBA finals, and getting away with it because all the Lakers were getting away with things like they always do. He had long range in college and has progressively lost some of it each year, there’s gotta be someone better.

At point guard not much out there.

He’s not a all-star,but a solid back up.

All Im saying is with whats available…he is cheap and efficient and that is a combination that is hard to find.

The thought of Ty Lue makes me ill. Horrible even in jest.
