Twitterizing The Links
I'm loving the titles on the "We Read Charlie Rosen / Bill Simmons So You Don't Have To" by Red's Army, but I'm going to take it a step further. Instead of cutting and pasting the relevant info from those articles, I'm going to twitterize them. Enjoy.
- RT @sportsguy33 Part I: I'm smarter than all GMs except Daryl Morey and Sam Presti - "I am a golden god!"
- RT @sportsguy33 Part II: The reverse jinx worked once... Sheed and Daniels are not the answer - everyone hates us
- RT @coach_h8rade KG is an overrated, frontrunning, choker. CP3 is short. I matter, I really do.

ahh
well, he does make some good points – Presti is going about it the right way (slowly) and Morey has made some smart moves but I think he underrates the Celtics moves and he seems to dismiss the Cavs, Magic, and Lakers moves out of hand

I do think the Magic are worse off. The sacrificed 2 starters for one, and reduced much of their depth. I just don’t think they upgraded very much at all.
As far as Simmons assessment of Sheed, I don’t see why he’s so focused on his decline. Of course he’s declined over the past several years. He’s 35 years old!! But we only need him as a 6th man for 20 minutes a game. Counting on Sheed for 15 and 10 would be a grave mistake. However at this point he is the perfect guy off the bench to provide Defense, savvy and jump shooting – exactly the attributes our bench was missing!!
I'm so confused...
I just don’t get the twitter thing.
But yeah, that Simmons article was unnecessarily negative, just to prove that he’s “objective”. (i.e., he now harbors resentment towards Boston sports for whatever reason).

twitter 101
“RT” means “re-tweet” it signifies that you are quoting someone
@name links to the person’s account (I made up the one for Rosen)
you have to keep everything under 140 characters, so if forces you to be brief

Thanks, Jeff...
I didn’t have a clue what “RT” was. The rest, I could basically figure out, sort of.

RT is the biggest piece of crap that the Twitter phenomenon has brought forward. What’s the point of following people of interest if everyone you’re following is simply retweeting each other. Seriously, I don’t need to read the same tweet 5 times.
But I guess the cat is out of the bag.

Not to defend it too much, but
It’s possible that you’re following person A but not person B, and yet person B writes a good post. In those cases, it’s nice when A passes it along.
When you’re following both A and B, it can get annoying to continually read the re-tweets.

ahahahahahahaha. perfectly done.
When Perk was asked what he thought of Howard winning the gold medal this summer, he responded: "What’s his impression of me after I won a ring?"
I'm annoyed
Death to Twitter -
True story – in the mall the other night, with my wife and two small kids – wife walks by a guy and both he and she do a double take – 3 steps after we pass this guy I get the “I went to high school with him” – get home later, he finds her on Facebook and says “looks like you have a wonderful family” -
Point? Why not just stop in the freakin’ mall and say hi?

I love how like 2 weeks ago the Celtics were absolutely the team to beat, well, as far as the news was saying. Now a few weeks later with no real changes the trend in the news says KG is overrated and Sheed isn’t going to help.
So basically, write a story one way, wait 2 weeks, then completely write the opposite story.
Strange strange strange.
I guess the negative reviewers waited for the positive reviews to die down so their articles would be payed attention to.
Is Twitterizing a dirty word?
Sounds dirty. Used in a sentence: “I can’t believe how much time they spend twitterizing each other”
I should have trademarked “reverse jinx” in regard to Celtic discussions – I have been robbed by Twitter Dee and Twitter Dumb.
Is it Soup Yet?
It sounds girly
It sounds like a word your little sister would bring home from her circle of friends.
Kinda like bff.
I think Twitterizing is Twitterific.
I like twitter so much I want to take it out behind the middle school and get it pregnant.
Seriously though, someone kill me now if the next digital pop culture phenomenon after twitter regresses even further into stupidity. Maybe a live feed of users bodily functions? Ha, I guess that would be called Shitter.
Rosen has always hated KG
Rosen has always hated KG in a wierd, Skip Bayless-like way. But these days he has to really stretch, or maybe it’s just pure lazy. KG averaged 21 points and 13 boards in the 4 Finals wins, 3 of which were close down the stretch…so Rosen’s way to criticize is to say that KG putting his foot on the Lakers’ neck in the closeout game is a bad thing? Really?
Charley Rosen is overrated
He’s a hack writer who has a job simply because he was Phil Jackson’s lapdog during his CBA days.
The Chicago Bulls.....the more profitable Los Angeles Clippers.
That Rosen article is the dumbest thing I have ever read...
…and I’m not the kind of guy to say that lightly.
Let’s ignore all the obvious most overrated players in the NBA (Richard Jefferson, LeBron, Wade) and then just focus solely on the negative aspects of a bunch of players who, other than Stephen Jackson, are not really overrated, completely ignoring their good qualities.
Everyone he complains about is better at basketball than he is at writing, that’s for sure.
The KG comment is preposterous!
