Keys to an 18th Banner

There are a few key things that have to happen for the Celtics to get an 18th banner. One of the few things is they have to have a healthy Kevin Garnett. Another thing that has to happen is Rajon Rondo has to step up and improve his game, if he can be an effective player the Celts are definitely contenders for that 18thbanner. And the final thing that the Celtics have to do is have a good bench, they need a bench that can come into the game in score 20+ points. I think with the addition of Rasheed Wallace the Celtics will be the team to beat this year

Bos better pray big baby returns, cuz they are definately not getting any younger. Im afraid with such an old lineup that has 0 depth. Boston will be extremely tired by the end of the regular season, and its only going to get worse during the playoffs when they have to play 21 games just to get to the finals vs. both lebron/shaq and dwight/carter/lewis

Young teams dont win championships. Average age of the Celtics 27.9. Average age of the Lakers 26.3. Cavs 26.2. Magic 26.8,and the Spurs 28.0. The year the Celtics won they were 28 average year. . Jordan was 35 going on 36 when he won his last championship.Karl Malone,and stockton 35 and 36 with 2 finals in 97,98 at that age. The right amount of youth. Plus Garnett will be well rested,and Wallace. The early exit last year. Maybe the best thing too happen. For this years championship.
