Semih Erden?

Round 2 pick 30

Last year late in the draft the celtics selected semih erden. Whats the deal with him? Can someone tell me some more information? If he is a decent player why dont we use him i cannot see rasheed having many years left and we wont have many bigs this season. When 1 or 2 post players get in foul trouble what are we going to do. So what is Erden's situation and ho else is in the possible picture

he’s under contract for another year overseas and we’ll wait a year to see if he can come over next year

He’s a joke! The last time I played basketball was 1963 and I can score on this guy…and I might add I was one of the best athlete’s in high school but I could never be confused as a basketbell player.

he is fighting for a spot in a team full of centers( fenerbahçe ülker)..Ömer aşık(national team drafted earlier in 2 round last year),mirsad türkcan(national team,first player to play in nba from Turkey),,c.Vidmar( plays for his national team,undrafted this year),,oğuz savaş(national team, potential nba draftee)…he is done well last year esp. in the playoffs…http://www.tbl.org.tr/beko/oyuncu.asp is the place where you can find his stats in turkish leagues

hey the celtics didnt do to bad when they drafted dino radja but they also had stojko vrankovic.yuck if he comes here in 2011 i hope he can help us maybe we will have another beast on our hands …
