McDyess To Spurs, Detroit After Baby?
In case you missed it, the Globe reports:
Pistons free agent forward Antonio McDyess has committed to signing with the San Antonio Spurs, according to his agent Andy Miller.
According to another league source, the Pistons will make an attempt to get Celtics restricted free agent forward Glen Davis.
Also, Varejao is headed back to Cleveland and the Marion to Dallas deal is picking up steam. (CBS Sports)

I’m also hearing Cleveland is in advanced talks with Anthony Parker… The lack of interest in him from the C’s is starting to annoy me. I’d take Parker over Hill anyday (because of Hill’s age and injury history).
Don't Trade Rondo!!!
Would he sign for the LLE?
I think he’ll get more than $2 million per season.

Doesn't every team that misses out on a big man FA want to talk to Davis?
Before they make a contract offer to someone else.
With Sideshow Anderson
heading back to Cleveland, I’d say their interest in BBD is approximately zero.
It looks like Detroit or Boston is the only destinations left for young Mr. Davis.
If Orlando strikes out
they could be back in this. I don’t really take their GM’s comments at face value.
A lack of options for Big Baby might make a sign and trade more viable however. I don’t know if the FO wants to spend more than the minimum on the 4th big, so maybe they’d rather get a SF for the salary slot Baby would demand.
Big Baby AND Maxiel....I doubt it
Two young guys who play the same position. Last I heard the Pistons like Maxiel. So, looking good to get Baby back
in what way can detroit pay baby?
didn’t they use all their cap space? they don’t get an MLE do they??
I believe Detroit has ~$4M left under the cap. So sayeth Hollinger in paragraph six.
good
I hope they use it on BBD. They’d be the all-undersized-team.
