Line Up Possibility

It has certainly been an incredibly exciting off season to date.

The signing of Rasheed has created in my mind, many, many options for Doc.

The one I would love to see is:

5  -  Perk

4  -  Rasheed

3  -  KG

2  -  The Captain

1  -  Rajon

I honestly believe KG can handle the three spot and Paul can handle the 2 spot.  The others are obviously a natural fit.

That is one daunting defensive team and not too shabby at the offensive end.

Cleveland, LA and the Magic are all going to be tough, but I like our squad, a lot.

Go the Green !!!!!

Cheers

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

I agree, and i think that a lineup with Baby at the 3 might show up this season.

A scary line up indeed

Yes good point Aussie, I agree that line up could be seen especially come playoff time.
Its big, strong, long and still quick.

It is also the line up that Cleveland,, Orlando and especially the Lakers will dread seeing.

Kind of reminds of the Celtic teams of the 80’s where we would cause teams all types of problems by playing the big 4 Bird, Parish, Mchale, Walton, with Wedman and Maxwell in the back court at times (especially against the Lakers when we needed a tall defender on Magic Johnson).

That is what is scary about the Celtics this year, they have not only depth but alot of versatile lineups to go with.

Cant wait for the season to start to see those 5 on the court at the same time, destroying teams on their way to title # 18.

Great comparison fordescort. I had almost forgotten the “Big 4” line up back in ’86. Now that was a team.

Your point made me think you could take the “big / long” aspect of the current line-up one step further by putting Marquis at the 1. Try driving the lane on that group.

Interesting times ahead in 2009 /10.

Go the Green !!!!

Cheers

that line up is sick!

that is sort of a defensive line up..
putting ray allen on sixth man is scary!

ray gettin up there in age it wuld be good 4 him to come off the bench and if the celtics resign him next year n restructure paul pierces contract they will have enough to pay rondo and be a player in free agency if we culd get another allstar type player n bring ray allen off the bench. paul pierce i believe said he wuld restructure his contract so they culd bring ray allen back, he does have a player option right?
