Big Baby vs. Sheldon Williams
hmmmmmmmmm?
Well lets say hypotheticly BBD and Sheldon Williams go 1 on 1 who would win? Honesty i couldn't decide. Babys offense was much improved this last season, but look at this in 21 minutes last year big baby averaged 7 points and 4 rebounds and in 10 minutes per game Sheldon averaged 4.1 points and 3.4 rebounds thats comparable. Although its differant in Boston becuase their less shots to go around. New point though, I would have to say that Williams has a better NBA body and can play center too. So working with good coaches and vetrans Williams can devolope his 5th pick potential. An maybe.. just maybe.. we could have 2 big babys running around the court none expensive ones ( fingers crossed) may i add.
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

ohh
i think that their is less scorers on the kings then their is on the celtics so their is more touches to go around their theirfor mre oppertunitys to score are their . This is one of my first serious post so feedback an opinions is nice
well the kings problem wasnt always scoring but defense, but still deffinetly not as good as the celtics. its more about playing time than touches for players like williams, he doesnt really get touches he cleans up the glass so if he gets minutes like when he was on the kings he’ll get numbers like he did on the kings, hes essentially a bigger powe
Baby wins on almost every count
Baby’s better at center, is a significantly better shooter and scorer, both inside and from the perimeter, and he’s a better defender in space, and can use his body to keep players out of the paint.
Both players are around 6’7" and 3/4th and offensive rebound at about the same rate.
Williams has historically better defensive rebounding and shot blocking #s, and has a nice wingspan—7’4’ and 1/2.
Baby bodyslammed Shaq when he was in high school, so I’d have to say that Baby’s got the strength advantage, though Williams has good strength too…

Probably Sheldon Williams
Williams is a significantly better defender, and it’s not like 1 on 1 his shot is going to get blocked by baby. Neither of the two particularly impress me though.
I think people are forgetting that much of BBD’s “offense” was generated b/c the Celtics had multiple all-stars on the floor receiving double teams. He rarely got the ball 1 on 1 and did anything meaningful, esp in the paint. Obviously his spot jump-shot is better than Williams’
That said, I think the greater question is who is more valuable off the bench for the Celtics? And to take it a step further, in what rotations would each be ideal?
If Shelden Williams got to use his wife then he would win
