There's something about Billy
Billy Walker is at it again, doing community service. This time he was joined by JR Giddens, Wyc Grousbeck, and surprise guest Cameron Diaz! Apparently Diaz is in town filming "The Untitled Witchita Project” with Tom Cruise.
The Boston Celtics teamed with Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, City Year and the Dartmouth Medical School Urban Scholars for a transformational day of service. More than 125 volunteers participated in service projects to beautify the Young Achievers Pilot School in Mattapan and promote living a healthy life
Along with the service projects, Boston Celtics players Bill Walker and J.R. Giddens hosted a basketball clinic for 5th - 8th grade students. Additionally, actor Cameron Diaz stopped in to lend a hand helping students and volunteers build flower beds around the school. Celtics Dance Team Director Marina Ortega conducted a dance clinic for the students.
"We had a great day helping to improve the school through many projects," Celtics forward Bill Walker said. "I was very impressed with the dedication of employees from the Celtics, Harvard Pilgrim and City Year. Teaming up for this day of service has really made a difference in the school's community."
Update: Billy, JR and Wyc were all seen leaving the site crying hysterically. Like this.
