There's Something About Billy

There's something about Billy

Billy Walker is at it again, doing community service.  This time he was joined by JR Giddens, Wyc Grousbeck, and surprise guest Cameron Diaz!  Apparently Diaz is in town filming "The Untitled Witchita Project” with Tom Cruise.

The Boston Celtics teamed with Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, City Year and the Dartmouth Medical School Urban Scholars for a transformational day of service. More than 125 volunteers participated in service projects to beautify the Young Achievers Pilot School in Mattapan and promote living a healthy life

Along with the service projects, Boston Celtics players Bill Walker and J.R. Giddens hosted a basketball clinic for 5th - 8th grade students. Additionally, actor Cameron Diaz stopped in to lend a hand helping students and volunteers build flower beds around the school. Celtics Dance Team Director Marina Ortega conducted a dance clinic for the students.

"We had a great day helping to improve the school through many projects," Celtics forward Bill Walker said. "I was very impressed with the dedication of employees from the Celtics, Harvard Pilgrim and City Year. Teaming up for this day of service has really made a difference in the school's community."

Update:  Billy, JR and Wyc were all seen leaving the site crying hysterically.   Like this.

If Walker or Giddens

step up on the basketball court, we may have something. Diaz is a very decent person. Noted absence. Mr. Cruise. God love you Mattapan, my home town.

Wichita not WITCHITA !!!!! I am hurt by that tyPO

And they make the film in Boston instead of Kansas? Oh Well…maybe Billy Walker can talk to Cameron about the great purple and white colors of the Kansas State Wildcats….. speaking of purple…….Cameron in this picture looks like she has been deep into the purple kool-aid mixed with some Vodka……

Walker 6'6"-------Giddens 6'5"

Both guys are going to have a break out year. All Walker needs is a consistent jumper and that will make him very dangerous. I saw both guys play summer league, and it surprised me that Giddens game was just as serviceable than Walkers game.

Giddens will fight Daniels for playing time at the shooting guard position. Giddens already has a decent jumper and Daniels offense game is in the paint. Giddens will get play because Daniels is always hurt.

Our chief rivals have all gotten better to there credit . But none of them can go 14 deep. We all say get rid of Scal and Tony Allen but truth be told neither one of these guys is chopped liver. Both of these guys can contribute to a team. Its just that our team now, is on a different level.

Well I'm glad you're confident

But I pretty much completely disagree with you. I watched the Summer League, and while I thought Giddens had improved and he looked very explosive, he was very erratic on his drives, essentially just throwing his body into the paint.

I do however, believe Bill Walker could become a decent rotation player this year. All he needs is to further develop his handle and face up jump shot (which is already average), and he could do some things for us this year. I love his defensive potential. I love his size. I love his intensity.

As for the height thing, if Billy Walker is only 6’6", there’s no way Giddens is taller than 6’3/6’4. He does have a ridiculous wingspan, so that does give him length.

I'm not saying this with absolute certainty, but I believe Giddens is shorter than listed

I saw him once at street level and he looked no more than 6’3, 6’4" tops.

How tall is Wyc?
