The Celtics announced earlier that newly signed Marquis Daniels will be introduced on Friday morning. Personally I look forward to more pictures of a happy DA in a snazzy polo shirt (although he did suit it up for the Sheed announcement).

On a related note, what does Marquis have in common with:

Tom "Googs" Gugliotta
Snake enthusiast, Mikki Moore
New Dee-League Coach Dee Brown
and should-have been an All-Star last year Al Jefferson?

All will have worn the #7 jersey for the Celtics. Looking at the list of the guys who have donned the lucky #7, I'm not sure if that's a good omen or a bad one for those into numerology.

With all the waiting and side-play that went into this signing, this guy better deliver. He could be under alot of unfair pressure by fans and media.
