Garnett Will Play In Preseason
The Boston Celtics practiced for the first time (officially) this season at Salve Regina in Newport, RI.
Forward Kevin Garnett participated in about 75% of practice. He looked good and said he felt good. Word is that he will definitely play at some point during the preseason. Just not sure when. In other injury news, Tony Allen did not participate , as he is still recovering from surgery. Doc Rivers and Celtics captain Paul Pierce both praised the bench for how well they played during today’s intial practice.
The Celtics play their first preseason game a week from tomorrow in Hidalgo, Texas against Houston.

Not liking the "not sure when"
I’d like to hear that KG will be good to go for next Wednesday, cause he still has some rust to get off him. The sooner, the better, right?
Hard to believe this is his 15th opening practice day in the NBA
and he stills needs decaf……take it easy KG it’s one long season.
Tai…….easy there…..breathe deep
Is it Soup Yet?
KG in the preseason
I don’t care if Garnett plays that much in the preseason all I care about is that he is healthy for the playoffs so we can kill the Lakers in the finals. That is really all I care about
God, I love this!!!
Not sure about the rest of you, but training camp is just starting and I’m bouncing off the walls!! Can’t wait to find out the smallest bit of news, looking at pictures, watching clips. Start the games already, it’s been a long summer!!

i have been counting down the days to training camp and constantly been checking CB for updates multiple times a day!! this is an exciting time especially since this takes my thoughts off of the Sox ever so inconsistent rotation grrrrr

Fantasy
Anyone here done fantasy basketball yet? I just ran through some mock drafts and I’m amazed how high people are taking Garnett, right at the end of 1st/top of 2nd round. At least some people aren’t too worried about him it seems…
