Ray Allen is in "Best Shape" This Offseason

It's good to hear that Ray is healthy and ready to jump into another championship run this season. We've heard the critics talk about how quickly the typical shooter's game drops off, but Ray Allen is not the typical shooter...he's one of the best shooters, if not the best shooter of all time. If the longevity of Reggie Miller's career is any indicator of how much more Ray's still got left in the tank, we should see plenty of scoring from everywhere on the floor this season. Reggie and Ray are very much alike in that they both take excellent care of their bodies and stick to a regiment of healthy eating and intense workouts. Adding Marquis Daniels to the mix should also help Ray's numbers, as his legs will get more rest this season than they did last season. I'm really looking forward to seeing what Ray will bring to the table this season.
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

my guess is ray's ability to drive to the hoop goes from 20% of what it once was to 10%
his off the ball shots will still be there. BUT eventually he is gonna turn into present day m. finley. good thing his contract is coming off soon.
I see what your saying
Finley is not a future hall of famer like Ray Allen is. Mike has not even been a player where he was the best player on a team,or has taken a team to the playoffs as the go to guy. Ray’s numbers are Hall of fame status.Finley has always been the 3rd best player on a team during his prime. Do not compare the two guys. If you want to compare guys.Go with Reggie Miller and Ray. Reggie Miller took the Pacers to his first finals when he was 34 years old. Ray has just turned 34 years old.He will be the whole season.Reggie started to really decline when he hit 36. That’s by the numbers. Ray to me is a better player then Reggie. Ray has another season in him,and I think two years of solid play to help lead the Celtics to a title. I would like to see Ray take a paycut, and stay with the C’s. So we can sign a young star on the rise, and keep are veteran guys. In a perfect world on that.
Ray is a fitness freak just not as intense as KG
but just as legendary in his methodical (maniacal?) attention to detail for working on the parts of his body that need it and in an intelligent approach to accomplish what’s asked at this point in his career.
I think he has longevity and surprises. Heck, didn’t he already surprise everyone this year by surpassing all expectations?
Ray saying he’s in the best shape he’s ever been in at this point of summer is a great thing to hear. His body is rested, strengthened, and raring to go. Another horse ready to burst out of the Boston gate!
