Ok I think we can all agree House is having a horrible year so far especially on the offensive shooting end which is suppose to be the strong point of his game.
I do not think we can say he is just in a slump and will snap out of it because he has been in a funk all year long.
His jumper has been erratic and if House is not shooting and scoring well, then since he is not much of a defender it makes no sense to have him on the floor.
Due to his struggles so far this year and the fear they will continue the rest of the year and into the playoffs, I think its time to contemplate trading House for the good of the team and to upgrade the backup shooting guard position.
The C's can possibly trade him and his valuable 2.8 million expiring contract straight up for another shooting guard, or trade him for some draft picks and then sign another back up shooter off waivers or obtain one through a buyout etc.
I just think heading into the playoffs we really need solid shooting from the back up shooting guard position to open things up for our other players and since House appears he can no longer provide that service for us anymore we need to find another player who can.
Anyone else agree?
