Eddie House Wants in On the Three-Point Shootout

The Celtics passed this video along:

Apparently Eddie will have an even more detailed one coming out later this afternoon. I wonder if Paul Pierce will make one as well.

Here's the newest one:

Paul deserves to be in the contest!

Eddie too, especially after getting snubed last year. I hope both make it but it’s unlikely. It would be fun to see Eddie in that contest, though!

He bounced back nicely last night

After a putrid performance against New Jersey…Now we just need some CONSISTENCY.

hahahaha Greg

If we all got paid on “bounce backs” instead of “consistency” the world would be an easier place.

Cheers to consistency…..have a good weekend!

improving

I hope they both make it! I think it will actually help the celtics during actual games. Consider it 3 pt practices for both Pierce n House. If they catch fire after the all star break we can correlate it to them practicing for the 3 pt contest!

Eddie had his shot last year

and didn’t make it. This year it is the Captain that is hot from the three ball line and it is Pierce that should be going to the contest. Paul’s desire is much publicized and I can’t help but think that players know each team can get only one player in the contest. Why would Eddie promote himself for the contest knowing he would be directly competing and maybe hurting the chances of the Captain who is having so much better a year at three point shooting than Eddie? I don’t get it.
