I think Doc has done a good job except for the fact that he wants to keep playing Scal. It is almost like he has dirty pictures of someone in the organization. Every person who has ever watched a game with me from diehards to people who hardly watch basketball ask why is he out there.

Hopefully when Daniels comes back, the bench will be kept to Daniels, Eddie House, Big Baby and Sheed. I’m ok with Tony Allen occasionally as the 10th guy because even though he makes bad decisons, he is at least athletic and the other team has no idea what he’s going to do out there.

The biggest challenge that Doc has is to make sure KG and Sheed don’t launch jumpers. They are both so effective underneath – the success of the team may hinge on them camping out down low with Perk.

Its reminiscent of Antoine. Jeff Van Gundy has pointed out, he was so devastating on the blocks – we had no one to cover him. We used to pray that he hit his first 3 because that meant that he would be launching all game. I feel like Sheed is exactly the same way.

so thats on doc? if we play our best players and loose. thats not on doc! thats on the players not executing and having enough focus for the entire game. its eddie house not being able to hit the side of a barn, kg and daniels not being healthy enough to play.

The man does not understand Celtic basketball. His hatred of rookies costs the team about 8 mil every year. Some players are just not good practice players. But they shine under the bright lights. I think he has lost the team because of his stupid rotations. Once players see you lack true understanding of the game. You can never get there best again because they don’t believe in you.

…that they’re not good practice players but shine under the bright lights?
 
How do you shine under the bright lights in a NBA game? By knowing your team’s system so you can contribute under it. If someone wanted to argue that Walker or Giddens are doing well in practice and thus deserve minutes, that’s one thing. But if they can’t practice well, why should I believe they’ll do better come game time?

i like mchale, but i cant sit here and say he is BETTER, which is the key word. IS HE BETTER than doc? your 100% sure he is a BETTER COACH then doc? doc did well in orlando before all his players got injured. he won a CHAMPIONSHIP with these players, they like and are behind doc. mchale had kg in minnesota and never made the finals
