(Sarcastic) Trade Idea!
In the spirit of the trade season, I thought I'd propose a totally realistic ridiculous trade that I believe would help us for the present and future as well. Here goes.
Tony Allen, Ray Allen, Big Baby, Bill Walker, and Eddie House for Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. It works in the trade checker, so it must be reasonable right?
Why for Miami: Wade is old news and his commercials are lame (oops, sorry T-Mobile). Time to ditch the superstar and let Ray mentor the kids.
Why for Toronto: Two words, Bill Walker. Need I say more?
Why for Boston: Yeah, it would be hard to part with Ray Allen for chemistry reasons, but I think the team could use some younger blood. The risk of perhaps not being able to resign these free agents drives down the price a bit though. Maybe we could get both teams to throw in a draft pick as well.
P.S. I love trade season, I really do. The rumors, smokescreens, deceptions, and outright lies are great object lessons to our youth about the realities of big business. What ever are we going to talk about in March?
Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

no way!
Tony Allen is the dealbreaker for me, no way on heck I give him up, even if it is for Wade and Bosh. Toronto and Miami WISH we would offer them this package of elite players with championship experience.

You forgot to throw in Scal
Doesn’t every big, crazy trade proposal on these blogs have to include Scal?
And shouldn’t we be getting Kevin Durant somehow out of this?
I don’t like it. Don’t make me angry. You would’t like me when I’m angry …
gotta keep Scal
for the follow up deal getting durant

Perhaps it helps us now,
but I’m not sure how any trade that deprives us of our young core of Infant-Walker-Allen could possibly help us for the future.
Even if it does net us two of the premier sub-30-year-old hoopsters in the world.

Not so sure....
I’m not so sure, we would have enough of a supporting cast, for Wade and Bosh to be successful. At best Wade and Bosh get us deep into the playoffs, but can Wade-Bosh, plus KG, Pierce, Rondo, Sheed, Perkins really take us over the top??….not so sure, I feel more comfortable with the depth of Tony, Bill Walker, and JR
Bad News
in reaction to the Celtics trades, the Lakers would be forced to retaliate

in related news, half the league would be contracted or converted into D-League franchises

D-League franchises?
It seems to me that about half the league’s teams are well on their way to D-League conversion already.
Gary Payton trade
