Sheed Poll

Well, after playing this long with the Celtics, I think we can place a judgment on the successes of Rasheed Wallace. He has proven that he can have moments of dominence, being able to post up almost any player and land a bucket, he has shown that he can get threes in sometimes, but not other times. However, he has shown that defensively he is quite lazy - I think lackadaisical is a good way to describe him. Not to mention his constant fouls, arguing with refs and subsequent technicals...

Some things I have heard also is how Sheed has brought the team down in the locker room. Has he closed the window?

Well I forgot where I read it, but I heard that in the locker room he is as he was at Detroit…Just taking the seriousness out of the other guys.

I Agree

Rasheed is a inconsistent player, having good games and then bad games.

But have not all the players on the C’s this year been inconsistent?

Rasheed was the best big man /center available this summer and the C’s signed him which I think was a wise move since we lacked a back up center and needed insurance for KG.

What other big man center was available that was better then Rasheed?

He is clearly our best big man off the bench now and is much more talented and useful then all our other big men Baby, Scal or Williams.

So unless Danny trades to get a better back up big man to come off the bench, Rasheed is with all his faults the best big we have currently on the bench and I for one am glad we have him.

Last night vs Atlanta

…I would rather we had nobody instead of Sheed. Horrible performance. He must be brought under control, one way or another, before May. He can’t be allowed to do whatever the hell he wants to do out there.
