Trade Ray allen would be the best for the celtics he not clush any more his age is slowing him down paul pierce can carry the team by his self we need another shooter and we need it now. Marquis Daniels injury we can wait for any more why wait for every one is healthy age is a big factor why we are not win ans finshing games Monta Ellis will be a great factor for or success.

I think our starting five are more than OK, if the ownership is willing to spend on Maggette, we could swallow his contract to make him a great sixth man, and then try to find a backup for RR.

On Ray Allen

Currently the Celts has the 3rd best record, why dismantle this team? The losing record in the past 12 games is not due to the age of Ray Allen. They had been playing better in November and December…a sudden string of loses is contributed by the team chemistry and injuries. Doc should bring the UBUNTU mentality.

Compare the stat’s of Ray and Paul? There is no big difference. If there a change that we want to happen, it should not be the team composition but the team chemistry.

Just look back at the last year playoffs? In how many instances did Pierce turned the ball over…. and Ray bailed the team out.

Try this stat in January and February:

Boston is being out-rebounded, with a lot offensive rebounds to opposing teams.
Rasheed is shooting 29% from beyond the arc.
TO is almost the same with the league average.

Why blame it on Ray when he averages just 13 shots a night. If he will be made to play like Kobe… for and average of 22 shots… the offense revolves around him…then trade him if his stats will not increase.
