After loosing in the playoffs again in 2011 and realizing the talent around him is average at best, he will have a big decision to make (player option) in 2012.  If the NBA does not change the free agent rules next year, Howard would love to play with the best defensive minded/point guard in the NBA.  What big man would not want to play with Rondo .

The trick is for Danny to figure out  trades for Perk and Big Baby or to convince them to  sign one year contacts after this year.  That would enable the Celtics to sign Howard in 2012.  Trading Perk for Donte Greene and Jason Thompson (both contract expire in 2012) works.  The challenge will be to make the right trades and win a championship this year.  Next year they sign Yao Ming (Bill Walton plan) for one year and we win  again.  We are so fortunate to have Danny and Doc,  players want to play here now.  One more prediction, Dave Cowens will replace Tommy when he decides to retire.  After reading this blog for a fews years I decided to participate.  Great job by everyone connected with this blog.
