Around SBN: NFL Safety Ryan Clark's Motivational Workout

While it’s unclear how long West will be out, the club is preparing for him to miss at least three months.

"It’s broken for sure,’’ Celtics coach Doc Rivers said. "Don’t know anything else more than that; a compound fracture most likely. But that’s going to be a long time, let’s just put it that way.’’

Happy Thanksgiving everybody...

Gee I hope the timetable for a return can be something like 3 months.

Because if he misses the season I think that will be a big, big blow to the C’s.

If Delonte can come back later this year and be ready for the playoffs I will take that in a heartbeat.
The good news is he broke his non shooting hand which I assume gives him a better shot of returning this year then if he broke his shooting hand.

I hate losing him in the short term, but as long as we get him back later in the season when the games begin for real that’s all that counts I think.

In his absence I hope Doc gives Avery some serious minutes so we can see what the kid and make this unfortunate injury to Delonte have some type of positive outcome.

It's nice to see this (hopefully) opens a door for the rookie, but still, Delonte is a proven contributor on both ends of the floor.

hate to see him down, and i hope he’ll be back before the regular season ends.

Positives

His back will rest
He is young and love to play the game
He is My Boy! still and nothing will change that

Luckily, it's not his shooting hand

Still, can’t wait to see him back – he just gives our bench a whole new dimension.

Another brightside, he’ll be nice and refreshed for the homestretch to #18.

You just got Rondo'd

Honestly

Delonte broke his wrist, and in the process broke my heart. : (

For a team

named the Celtics, we really have some terrible luck.

Even funnier, was when Wade said " I feel sorry for whoever has to guard us". Uh, I'm pretty sure there is a defense right here in Boston that specializes in punking teams just like yours Dwyane. Nobody scores on us easily.

Nothing was more ironic than...

the Celtics having a mascot a few years ago named “Lucky”.

beating the nets was no consolation prize

it would have been better if that didn’t happen to Delonte but crazy accidents happen, hope he can recover but that’s a compound fracture, that could take a whole season to fix, Delonte man keep your head up, everyone’s rooting for you to stay positive in this tough time

It sucks but it could be worse

As was pointed out it’s not his shooting hand, and I’ll take a broken wrist over a ligament tear or something like that. It just sucks that we had him back for what, 6 games and he’s out again for 3 months. I guess we’ll see what Von Wafer/Avery Bradley can do.

Poo

Dont rush anyone back from injury, but I hope its not too long, getting him and Perk back around the allstar break will be a huge boon
