With the undeniable depth our beloved C's now have, once everybody gets healthy, it may be possible that we can break LA's all-time winning streak record of 33!
Indeed, with this loaded C's, it won't matter who we face or where we play because this team is so deep that if we roll to Jan. with everyone healthy, just look at January's schedule & that game in LA on Jan. 30 will be extremely crucial for both teams.
If we get healthy & continue our winning ways, Jan. 30 will be "make or break."
That is, if we beat LA, then we break their 33 games winning streak record. Hence, LA better have their top game-on come Jan. 30, they can't play us that day like how they are playing now!
Ultimately, the difference between the 19 game winning streak of 2 years ago to this year's winning streak is that we're so deep now with the addition of Shaq, JO, Semih, Nate, Delonte, & Luke.
2 years ago, all we had as a back-up 7 ft. big man was that regrettable Patrick O'Bryant who can't even play & that Leon Powe (as good as he is) is still a bit under-sized being only 6'8" while under-sized BBD (also 6'8") wasn't balling yet 2 years ago the way he does now.
Thus, Perk & KG didn't have great back-ups 2 yrs. ago that they simply ran out of gas after the 19 game win streak leading to the eventual losses after that streak.
But now, we're so deep especially upfront that anything's truly possible including breaking LA's long time record! (Or perhaps, the Bulls 72 game record?!)
As KG has said after the C's won the championship in 2008, "anything's possible!" LET'S GO CELTICS!!!
