Rondo Out vs. Nets

Stay connected for news and updates

Injury Update: Mike Gorman just announced on the broadcast that Shaquille O'Neal will not play in the second half today due to a sore right calf. Add it to the list.

According to Chris Forsberg of ESPN Boston, Rajon Rondo will sit today against the New Jersey Nets due to tightness in his left hamstring.

Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo (hamstring) is a last-minute scratch with coach Doc Rivers finding out his point guard was unable to go just moments before he met with reporters (about an hour before tip-off). Nate Robinson will start in Rondo's place.
