I totally agree. he is never wrong (in his mind) cant shoot, defense is mediocre at best, and is streaky at best. Him and Ray for somebody young and good, (or two players). maybe two different teams. But they need to shake it up. I am ray’s biggest fan, but trade him for a younger guard, then sign him for 8mil next season and make another run. I am not totally sold on KG either.. the guy can barely walk. You shouldnt have players on your roster that you are “saving” for the playoffs. you need to get there first.

if we got .no outside threat then we got no space and we barely got any post play as it is. He’s happy comin off the bench, will take a pay cut and is a great teamate. Forget about fuckin business and think loyalty for a change. Karma comes around. Posey & Powe. How valuable were they now.

So the Celtics have slipped quite a bit in January, but is it really fair to judge the players worth off one bad month? Granted Ray Allen’s 3 pt shooting percentage is way down from last year, as is Eddie’s, but that doesn’t mean we should just get rid of them. Those two players have been extremely crucial in the C’s offense in many games. Brian Scalabrine will never go. He is basically the Celtics mascot and his D is not all that bad. Sheed has been a major contributor off the bench. He has put up some huge points in previous months and could potentially be the best 3 pt shooter off the bench if Eddie doesn’t pick up his game. He also plays intense D. He has a steal every game. Just because the TEAM can’t convert that, doesn’t mean he should go. And last but not least, how can you say TA needs to go? He has been BY FAR the best bench player this month. He has the most energy on the court half the time and plays excellent D. Especially after watching his game during the Lakers and Wizards, he is the last bench player I want to see gone. I think a Ray Allen trade this year is almost inevitable (unfortunately). Its a bit harsh to judge his game as a whole on one bad month. This stretch before all star break is always tough. I agree that the Celtics are getting old and this line up can’t continue much longer, just don’t lose faith because of one bad month. In my opinion, the refs won the game for the Lakers and the Magic. I don’t think either of them are a huge threat. Its ATL that should be feared. We need a bench player like Jamal Crawford!
