he ain’t making the team he better learn how to finish around the basket , get better in the post, and lose some more weight
They may want a hard-nosed, defensive grit guy
Rosters are tricky. We’ve all seen teams of outright stars fall flat.

Perk as selected and Sheed was not. Enough said. Play Perk more, espectially at crunch time, and Sheed less.
Congratulations to Perk
Although I can’t imagine a player less suited to the international rules than Perk.
Offense
Perk finishes very well around the rim but his back to the basket game seems to have regressed from where it was at the start of the season. Like everyone I would love it for him to improve his free throw shooting
not only that...
but he’s turning and facing guys from 8-10 ft!!! I shout when I see this, HE IS NOT A FACE UP PLAYER!!!

but with that being said
Congrats perk, by all indications you work your butt off and its starting to pay off in the form of national recognition.

Way to go, Perk
I don’t remember watching any player progress from deep into hopeless to where he is now. Too bad there are more NBA stories of wasted talent than developed talent. But here’s a good story and he’s one of ours.
But, please, do you and Tony have to front rim the first free throw EVERY time.
His lazer hook
will probably injure someone and start an international incident.

Rock on
I pictured Godzilla when I read that. And like Perk, he wasn’t smiling.
