wish i was in DC to join in for the meetup

the C’s have just sucked so far this year. there is no rational argument you can make for them being a championship contender based on the way they’ve played.

having said that, I think they do have the ability to be a championship contender.

all I’m gonna say is that I got all the respect in the world for the bird/mchale/parrish years, but this team is my team and I feel strongly about that. i’d rather go down swinging with the guys that got us a trophy than the patchwork pieces that otherwise have been suggested.

hope other people feel the same way, and here is hoping that regardless of how we finish the season, danny makes the smartest moves possible during the offseason.

I would love to meet some of the posters, including you, Kiorrik, whether or not the Celtics are winning. I have come to respect (and yes, even though I don’t know them) like quite a few of the posters on this site…some I agree with….some I don’t.

Jeff, how did the meetup go anyway (despite the game outcome)?
