It's clear that Ray Allen's not the deepest problem, he's just the most valuable commodity.  Danny knows the Phoenix people.  It's clear that PHO's priority is not competing this year, it's getting under the salary tax.  By sending those 2 to us, PHO pulls $28MM off of next year's payroll, which puts them at roughly $32mm, or close to $20mm under the salary cap, and able to make a run at a big time FA...hello Bosh.  It keeps us competitive, gives us a post option, a 3-pt threat and some needed late 20's in-their-prime talent who come off the books at the end of next year.
