To all the peeps who Booed

Thanks for booing, that might have been a wake up call...a needed one. BUT NO THANKS for not believing, every team has its ups and downs, and granted we haven't looked the part since the first 28 games, but one thing i do believe in is Ray allen, KG, PP, Rondo, Perk,Nate, Sheed, Quisy, TA, SW, Finley Big baby...we still have a championship team. I dont care if they hobble into the playoffs, us as True fans should not give up on the team. Especially now, when they need us more than ever. they need to refocus and know that we will be supporting them, the fans are the sixth man sometimes..I have a suggestion, maybe Doc should run through the videos of the team back in 08, show these players what they are capable of. We need to provide this team with inspiration, motivation and confidence. We KNOW they can do it, just gotta channel the energy the right way. Heres to #18. whos with us?

Sid,

I appreciate that optimism and support for the C’s. I split season tickets with my friend and have been a die hard Celtics fan for over 20 years.

That team needed to be booed last night for one reason and one reason only. There was no heart and a lack of effort. The starters started off slow and the bench wasn’t much better. That team took my money and did not deliver the product. I can live with losses but a team that barely tries is something I cannot live with.

Lack of effort has been a growning trend with this squad and I hope that they get back to the effort levels and passion that have made them so successful in the past.

Love the Celts, but boo's were needed...

I am as devoted as ever to this team and that won’t but last night was disgraceful. It was the only game I’ve been to this year as I am normally away at college in Southern CT. The team just didn’t care – Dropping passes, throwing up bad shots, not going for rebounds, no hustle on defense. The losses are OK, we aren’t as good as we were 2 years ago and probably won’t win a championship this year. People can say the fans need to stand behind the team and cheer no matter what, but the players should have that same responsibility to give a damn to us. If they don’t care, why should we.

I'm a firm believer

that you boo effort, not results. So in baseball, you boo someone for not running hard after a flyball but you don’t boo them for striking out. Similarly in basketball, you don’t boo a missed buzzer beater but you can boo an absolute no show like last night.

Just asking for more belief

These players brought home the gold less than 2 years ago…I know the boos were needed to an extent, and i really hope the team took it the right way. But now all I am asking for as the team;s support structure, is lets give them something to believe in..lets get behind them like never before..lets go! there is time yet and the playoffs …is where amazing happens :P
with personalities like ray and kg, they must be stinging….they will fight..i believe and i invite the rest to support this run for #18

Bad Team So Far!!

It was good getting finley but right now the rotation is bad as hell i noe dat daniels is a bad shooter mite as well waste his mins and add more mins 2 finley and tony allen has a good defense and so far its very impressive and we all noe dat sheldon can rebound better dan baby so why doc doesnt let sheldon have more mins ill rather have sheldon dan baby no offence big baby and so far i dont like the rotation for the celtics its bad as hell I’M srry doc but its time for u 2 go

UBUNTU !!

I understand everyones frustration and believe me I am sure the team does too. But now is the time to dig in and stick together. That’s what Celtics pride has always been about. Everyone on that team has been through the some of the roughest times in basketball. That is no coincidence… So have the fans… Celtics fans arguably have the biggest hearts out there.. Lets prove it !!

Im nt asking for blind faith

when the team performs badly, they should recognise the fact. And i think the way they have been playing since Jan…they do realise it. However, due to any number of things that have not gone right, it hasnt shown on court, BUT that doesnt mean its over…I mean just rest Pierce or KG or who ever needs it, even without them starting we have the pieces to have a cohesive team. I think SW can be really useful, let nate run around more, play him with Rondo…get movement going, speed…we have all the pieces just need to use them the right way, and use the next 10 games to experiment, then use the following 9 games to consolidate, and there you go keep the stars well rested, they will be ready..in KG’s words they Have NO CHOICE. lets be there for them
