Doc apparently gets it

From Doc's Thursday morning interview on WEEI:

Rivers said his team earned the boos that rained down upon them from the TD Garden crowd. "Yeah, that was pretty good, and we deserved it," he said. "Listen, I'm not a fan of booing anything. ... But that was frustrating for the fans as well. I always think you support your team good or bad, but last night was so bad — and it's rare where I'd say this — I had no problem with it at all."

Be respectful and keep it clean. Thanks.

I have commented before that you should always support your team, good or bad, much like what doc said

I totally agree, they earned those boos and had no problem with it at all either.

There's more... Paul said it weighed on all of them

…and that it bothered them all after they were booed off the court in their own home. KG said the same thing. Then they had a team meeting about it all before the game today. And the result of all that… was what we saw in the Pacers game: blowout.

This is one of the few times when fans actually had a clear and direct influence on what happened on the court, and to a team. Our booing led directly to their soul-searching. It bothered them a lot, as it should have, as we hoped it would. They took it to heart, and they changed. This is a great story. A beautiful story. A love story.

Imagine how much even greater this story could be

…if they end up winning the championship. “It started with the players being booed off their own court… and ended in championship #18.” That would be… just amazing.

I dont this Doc 'gets it' at all.

Doc Rivers is not the only reason for the Celtics struggles this season, but he is one of the reasons. He is being exposed for the fraud that he is.
Instead of talking about how getting booed, Doc Rivers should use his energy to make sure it doesn’t happen again!
