the way I see it, if your players are hurt then don't play them otherwise they'll develop bad compensating habits and if one player is a half a step off the entire team will follow in the same way.  Rondo is not hurt.  He must play at his pace to be effective and the players that are not hurt have to play tol Rondo's energy levels.  Maybee Rasheed will get into shape by playoff time.  Players who don't practice as they play in real games are never in sinc which has a tendency to show in the first quarter.  Therefore, rest your players until they are comfortable physically and mentally.  With solid practices the veterans should be up to speed in two weeks. In the meantime, work the bencheplayers as if every game is a playoff game where losing is not an option.  This mental toughness will serve the C's well when the veterans return healthy.  As of now, the bench is going to have to be the catalyst that wins games.
